The Books That Matter
I am Xandy. Reading a book is not my past time, I make time for it. My To-Read folder is overflowing. And I am always battling with my Currently-Reading folder.
I fell in love with reading ever since time memorial. A good book is a book I will read very slowly just to get every detail; a book that will always be reread; a book with no stupid characters; a book that will make me cry, whine, shout as if I was actually in it; and a book that makes me feel like or be a better person. :D
I fell in love with James Augustus Peregrine Pympoole-Bothame. Haha. XD He should have a good part in this book! Well, actually, the Ruby Red's synopsis was compelling that I had to read it right after I've seen it on Goodreads. Oh, and my intuition that this will be a great read has been justified. The moment I read through it, I wanted to finish it right away. I really liked the plot-thrilling, funny and witty. And the guy, Gideon de Villiers, is really something. I liked that Gideon was a little bit edgy towards Gwyneth, but eventually falls for her. I really went sad for a moment when he seems to like Charlotte. But well, his romantic remarks with Gywn, the way he was jealous with Gordon?! Just lovely. Anyhow, I'm having this feeling that Lesley is more than a 'bestfriend' in the story. Well, let's see, I can't wait to get a hold of the second book! :)
